"This mentorship is like opening a book and realizing in the first few pages that this is not just your favorite story; it is one you already know deeply by heart. Through reading, discussion, asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, yantra, and the sacred space of community (yes, all that!), Libby and Ana Pilar offer a rare invitation to discover how yoga can bridge a relationship with the divine, and how each of us is intimately connected to each other when we cross that bridge. Truly, we are the stories we tell—and these stories are full of wonder, grief, destruction, creativity, rage, desire, love, and ultimately, grace. This mentorship taught me to embrace all of those qualities in myself, and it prepared me to teach yoga as the practice of radical self-acceptance. Yoga has transformed for me into an awareness of the world as it experiences itself, and this is an understanding I am grateful to share with my students for many years to come."
